SIMONA AMERICA is a major manufacturer of polyolefins and polyvinyl chloride sheets and rods. The acquisition price consisted of cash.
The acquisition supports SIMONA AG’s strategy to expand upon its global presence, broaden its product range and increase its production capacity to support growth in the North American market. The combined product lines and capabilities position SIMONA AMERICA as a market leader for semi-finished plastic products in the chemical processing and semiconductor industries.
FM&Co. advised SIMONA AG on a multi-step engagement process which included valuation, transaction structuring, and management of business, financial and legal due diligence, recommending negotiating strategies and tactics through closing of the transaction.
