Geico Servizi Integrati S.r.l., the privately held Italian facility management company, has acquired the technical facility management company Lender S.p.A. The acquisition was funded in part through a capital increase in Geico subscribed by Atlante Private Equity (a private equity fund managed by IMI Fondi Chiusi SGR, a company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group) and Fondo Italiano di Investimento SGR, two leading Italian private equity funds. The acquisition further consolidates Geico's market position in the Italian facility management sector while strengthening Geico’s integrated technical facility management solutions by providing customers with service delivery capabilities across Italy.
Fredericks Michael & Co. acted as exclusive financial advisor to Geico both in the acquisition of Lender and in the capital subscription process by employing a structured approach and assisting on topics including valuation, structuring, due diligence, negotiations and closing.
